Cooking with Yr 4/5/6

Year 4/5/6 Pikelets.

Pikelet making was fun. It         became a science lesson as well. We looked at solids, changing    into liquids. Flour mixed with milk and butter heated in a pan turned into a liquid. We made 3 batches of pikelets- a gluten free, a dairy free and the original     recipe. We catered for everyone in the class. We ate our pikelets. They were so yummy!
